Welsh Pony & Part Welsh Stud
Established in 2011 with the purchase of our foundation mare, Crestwood Candy Cane, Cynbel Lodge began with a passion for Welsh ponies—and as the saying goes, "Ponies are like chocolate; you just can’t have one." It wasn’t long before our herd grew, and we welcomed our resident stallion, Crestwood Royal Occasion, chosen for his exceptional temperament, conformation, movement, and colour.
Over the years, we have proudly bred and sold ponies across Australia, including the introduction of our first Part Welsh foals in 2017, sired by Crestwood Royal Occasion and out of Yarramine Fascination (HSH, ASH).
At Cynbel Lodge, our goal is to produce top-quality Welsh B and Part Welsh ponies with outstanding temperaments. Whether destined for Showing, Interschool events, Pony Club, or Harness, our ponies are bred to shine in various disciplines while being handled, ridden, or driven by children.
