Here at CYNBEL LODGE, we cater to children from the age of three on our Welsh ponies right up to 9-year-olds. We offer everything from one-off lead-rein lessons to full courses for total beginners up to novice level, and we also organise school holiday fun pony workshops.

• WIGGLES & WHINNIE LEAD-REIN LESSONS are the perfect way to introduce your child to horse riding. A 30-minute lead-rein lesson for 3-6-year-olds and a 60-minute lead-rein lesson for 7-9-year-olds.

• SADDLE & STIRRUPS LUNGE LESSONS are the natural next step. Children must be 5 years of age or older to take one of these lessons and be confident in walk and trot.

​​

• JUNIOR JOCKEY LESSONS are perfect for the novice rider just off the lunge. This lesson is tailored to the rider's own needs and requirements, which determine the content of the session.

​​

We offer PONY PLAYTIME in school holidays for children, and included in our riding lessons is the opportunity to engage in our PONYWORX  PROGRAM. Lessons and sessions for children at CYNBEL LODGE can be booked on a casual basis, or if you wanted to make more of a commitment, by participating on a weekly or fortnightly basis.

CYNBEL LODGE, is fully insured with Affinity Insurance, and all riders are provided with riding helmets that comply with current VG1 safety standards.

​
